Mobile SEO Interview: SES Chicago Interview, Duncan Alney

Monday, January 12, 2009

Hi Everyone,

This is an interview I did with Duncan Alney fromĀ FirebellyFilms.com. In the video we talk about what sites can do to improve their search engine rankings on mobile search engines. We also talk about how mobile can bridge the gap between on and off-line behavior, and how that will force companies to improve their online presence to cater to a more mobile audience. Finally, we talk about how the mobile phone, and mobile search can give us the ability to more track how a company’s online presence and influence off-line behavior.

Enjoy!

PS: Yes I noticed the misspelling. We are working on it!

Hi Everyone,

I just got back from SES Chicago. It was a great conference, and it was wonderful to see everyone again. If you weren’t there, we had a great time, especially Monday night, when BOTW sponsored the Webmaster Roundtable at Kitty O’sheas. Some of the top SEO’s in the country were talking about the industry, and I was lucky enough to participate. Have a listen, and let me know what you think!

"Passion and enthusiasm can be hard things to come by, but there are a few special people who's work is more than just a job and where being just a subject matter expert is not enough. Cindy is one of those people. I have had the pleasure of inviting Cindy to speak at Microsoft to the Live Search team and have heard her speak on numerous other occasions and would recommend her as an expert in Mobile search and as a speaker knowledgeable in many other aspects of the search business. It has been a pleasure working with Cindy and hope to work with her again in the future." October 15, 2008
